As a partner at Audens since 2019, Maitane focuses her legal practice on copyright law, audiovisual law and artificial intelligence.
She is member of the Biscay Bar Association (7,078), and possesses extensive experience in negotiation, litigation and legal defence.
Maitane holds the position of Head of Studies at the School of Legal Practice of the Biscay Bar Association. Additionally, she serves as an external representative at the Supervisory Commission of SGAE, the main collecting society for songwriters, composers and music publishers in Spain.
Her commitment to legal education extends to various universities and institutions such as University of Deusto and Mondragon University. Maitane is a member of the advisory council of the Wolters Kluwer "Actualidad Civil" journal in the digital law section. Additionally, she is the author of the book "La legalidad de los negocios digitales" (Ed. Anaya Multimedia, 2022).
